The Autofill one of the most useful features of web browsers such as Google Chrome and Safari for Mac OS X. This features automatically fill autofill forms and logins, whether its username, email address, shipping address, password and login ID etc.

In case you’ve changed your username or password on login services then the old autofill information filling up forms are not usable in web browsers. In this condition, you’ve to clear out unnecessary autofill details from Chorme and Safari.

How To Clear Safari Autofill on Mac

Safari Autofill can be removed from your computer system if you know the proper way to do that. Here you see how to delete safari autofill easily without facing any problem.

Step 1 : 

Open ‘‘Safari App’‘ from menu and then select ”Preferences”.

Step 2 : 

Click on the Autofill tab

Step 3 : 

 

Now select Edit (next to web form). There are four options includes –

  • Using info from my Contacts card –  Autofill details – Address, location, name etc.
  • User names and passwords –  logins to websites details
  • Credit cards – payment information details
  • Other forms – miscellaneous autofill information

 Step 4 : 

When you’ve updated autofill information Click on Done.

Just download and launch  CleanMyMac 3 > select Privacy > to select the web browser and check Autofill values > Click on Remove.

How To Clear Autofill on Google Chrome on Mac

To delete one or all auto-complete text entries on chrome browser you can manually do it. Autofill Chrome details are the same as other autofill information and it can be removed for safety purposes.

Google Chrome allows its user to remove auto-fill information through web browser settings.

Step 1 : 

Open Chrome then Go to Menu (top right corner)

Step 2 : 

Click on More tools > Click on Clear Browsing Data

Step 3 : 

In the dialogue box that appears, you’ve to check Autofill form data.

Step 4 : 

Select the types of autofill information you want to remove. Select ”the beginning of time”.

Step 5 :

Click on Clear Browsing Data.
