You can easily send text SMS to any non-iPhone user from the iMessage application but there is some requirement to send the text message to non-phone users.
- First of all the computer has to be set as if it is in the United States
- The Phone has to be in the United States
- It has to be on a carrier that supports AIM SMS Forwarding.

Step 1 :
Run the iMessage application on your device.
Step 2 :
Go to the Buddies Tab and select Send SMS.
Step 3 :
Set an AIM Account with a buddy that in a phone number leading with +1 or your phone country code.
Step 4:
Type the message and send it.
Note: The iMessage only works between the iOS devices. So if you want to send the message using the iMessage to the non-Apple device. In this, the iMessage only sends the Text SMS which means the other user cannot able to see other special effects just text messages.
