Rotate Video On Media Player Using Windows Video Editor
So basically windows media player do not have the option to rotate videos. So you’ve to rotate the video using Windows Video Editor default software.
Step 1:
Go to the Start Menu and search “Video Editor” and open it.
Step 2:
Now in Windows Video Editor app select ” New Video Project “ and click on the “Add” button and wait till full video loaded into the editor. After this drag the video into the video library.
Step 3:
On the right side of the software, you will see the rotating icon as shown in the given screenshot. Click on the icon to rotate the video after rotating the video. Go to the upper corner where you’ll see “Finish Button” click on it to save the video file.
How To Rotate Video In Media Player Using Third-Party Video Player
You can also rotate video files in windows using the third party video player. Such as VLC media player. Because it allows its users to rotate video files. Follow the steps to rotate a video in VLC player in windows.
Step 1:
Firstly you’ve to Download the VLC video player from the web.
Step 2:
Open VLC media player from Start Menu or desktop shortcut. After this open the video file that you want to rotate using the VLC player.
Step 3:
Go to the navigation bar on the VLC player and browser to “Tools” > “Effects and Filters” and open it.
Step 4:
Now navigate to “Video Effects” > “Geometry”. After his click on Transform and start adjusting video display.

Go to the Tools > Preference. Switch on the “All” from “Simple” as shown in the given screenshot. Now go to the left plane and open “Video” and “Filter”. After this, Go to the right side plane and tick on the “Video Transformation Filter” and hit the Save button.
