The main advantage of using them is that they do not suffer from fall damage and they cannot drown in water also. In this article, we will be discussing the methodology of making the iron golems. Follow the simple steps.

Step 1:

At first, you need to craft four iron blocks. To make one iron block, you must combine nine ingots in a crafting table. You’ll be needing four blocks (that means 36 ingots) to make one proper iron golem.

Step 2:

Then you have to collect a pumpkin. For your kind information, pumpkins can grow on any grass block with the air above it but it cannot grow on tall grass or on snow. Plains biomes will be the easiest place to find them. You must need one pumpkin or a jack o’ lantern for making each iron golem. Keep in mind that you only need one pumpkin to start a pumpkin farm and grow as many as you would like.

First, you have to turn the pumpkin into four pumpkin seeds in the crafting screen, then you have to plant the seeds in farmland next to the water. Now, leaving one empty dirt block for each seed, planted pumpkins will grow onto the empty blocks.

Step 3:

After that, please find an open area. The open space must be at least three blocks wide and three blocks tall, it is the minimum requirement. It will be a good idea to work in a larger space because If you craft the golem so much closer to a wall, then there might be a chance that it spawns and trapped inside the wall. It suffocates. Please break the tall grass or flowers in the area before you start. These will prevent the golem from spawning.

Step 4:

Next, you have to place the four iron blocks in T shape. Please place an iron block on the ground and put the other three blocks in a row on top of the first one, it will form a shape like “T.” That is for the body of the iron golem. Now place the pumpkin or jack-o-lantern on top of the shape T.

Now place that over the center block. It will give the structure look like a little cross. That will change it immediately into the iron golem. The pumpkin should be in the last block, otherwise, the iron golem will not spawn.
