  •  Plans and other purchases can be canceled within 30 days of purchasing.
  • If you used the domain credit to register a new domain as part of your plan, and the refund period for the registration has lapsed, the cost of the registration will be subtracted from your refund.
  •  If you used the domain credit to map an existing domain, or if you are canceling within the refund period for the registration, you will receive a full refund.

 

So the main point is that you can only request for a refund within 48 hours of your domain registration. Other plans and purchases will be canceled within a month.

Now follow the given below step by step guide to request refund money from WordPress. If you’re in the refund period.

Step 1 : 

Go to WordPress.com and login into your account

Step 2 : 

Open your Profile. To open the profile click on the photo as shown in the screenshot.

Step 3 : 

Click on Manage Purchase next to account settings.

Step 4 : 

In next window screen. Click on “Cancel and Refund example.com”.

Step 5 : 

Confirm it. You want to cancel your registration on WordPress

Step 6 : 

To complete the cancellation. Click on “Yes Cancel Now”.

You should see a confirmation pop-up message on your screen in green colour the message is like “example.com was successfully cancelled and refunded “.
