Step 5:

Step 6:

Two four-core cables from the two three-way switch boxes must be put into the four-way switch box. Next, remove the insulation from the two four-core cables within the four-way switch box and expose the four types of wires (that is red, black, copper & neutral).

Connect the two copper ground wires to make it a single one and tie up the two neutral wires together. Now take the four-way switch and tie up one pair of red and black wires to the golden screws and the other pair to the black screws. Take the grounding copper wire and tie it up with the green screw
